HOW?
THEMES
I work with different Themes when I teach English. My students practice different abilities through out each Theme. Sometimes a Theme involve all abilities from the curriculum.
PHILOSOFY
”Few tasks that take time with rich content and real audiences during and after the process”.
METHOD 1-10
1.) Introducing a new Theme by taking a shower! It’s the same as getting exposed to the content.
2.) Raising and asking questions about our current content.
3.) Reading texts and listening to current and relevant information. Useing different strategies to understand and explain the understanding.
4.) Search for information from different media and sources.
5.) Collect information and make it visibel.
6.) Using collected information and questions to write and talk.
7.) Making corrections and improvements by getting feedback.
8.) Interact with others via text or conversations. Using strategies to improve communication and solve problems.
9.) Making comments and comparisons between you and the content.
10.) Collaborate and share through out the whole process. Make sure you have a real audience!
ASSESSMENT
Each Theme comes with a list of abilities adjusted to current Theme. We have a conversation through the process to discuss different levels of abilities and knowledge. The students work with these ”stairs” on regular basis.

There are many interesting places to visit in London such as the London Eye, Big Ben, Hyde Park, The Underground och Madame Tussauds and more. Now you have to get prepared. Watch movies, talk to your friends and check out different websites. Finally you will guide some of your friends around London (in our corridor, unfortunately) – in English of course. Good Luck!
